Hi my name is Tania Hopkins and I travel this beautiful and mystical county of ours in my comfy station wagon and collect positive stories and information on the Indigenous peoples, to create a 2 monthly magazine full of culture and colour. Most nights are spent in the bush by a creek or river and of course a campfire. I am of the Wakka Wakka people from my fathers side and of the Koama people on my mothers, of SE and SW QLD.

With a love of my people and pride in my culture, I founded “Our Dream Time” Magazines in 1998. In 2000 we officially launched “Our Dream Time” magazines in the Ipswich City Mall by the then Lord Mayor John Nuggent and followed with 5 editions printed in January, February, March, April, and May 2000. With limited funding and family commitments “Our Dream Time” was forced to stop printing, though we continued to collect stories. Our Dream Time has come back after 15 years and continued where we left off, through a digital magazine with editions 6 and 7 out now online, with future editions in print and sent out in the post.

“Our Dream Time” is a non for profit Organisation with all proceeds going back into future editions and into the local community. We are looking for sponsors to help with printing a monthly calendar so as to generate funds into the magazine. As I travel, I take photos on country at sunset and dawn along with scenic pics and nature photo’s. Sharing my story and others through my photography. Edition 6 features three strong men as they travel their paths doing it there way while inspiring others. Edition 7 features Evan Yana Muru of the Darug people and owner and operator of the Blue Mountains Walkabout.
